The binding freeskiers have trusted for twenty years, and the reason is the turntable heel. The Pivot heelpiece rotates around a single pivot point under your boot, which means the binding stays elastic through a hard landing instead of pre-releasing - and when it does release, it lets go cleanly. If you ski park, big mountain, or just ski hard, this is the binding.

What you get

  • DIN 6 to 15. Built for strong, fast, aggressive skiers. If your DIN comes out under about 8, this is more binding than you need.
  • Turntable heel with 45 mm of elastic travel. The most retention of any alpine binding, which is why it survives flat landings.
  • GripWalk compatible. Works with GripWalk and standard alpine soles.
  • Low stack height. Your boot sits close to the ski, so you feel the ski instead of standing on top of it.

Mounted and tested in Longmont

Mounting is free when you buy skis and bindings from us. We set them on a calibrated jig, dial in forward pressure for your boot and test the release values before the skis leave the shop. Bring your boots in.

Common questions

Do I need a DIN 15 binding? Probably not, unless you are heavy, fast, or landing jumps. We will run your numbers and tell you honestly - the SPX 13 or NX 11 is the right answer for most skiers, and we would rather sell you the right one.

Why is the Pivot worth the money? Retention. The turntable heel holds through impacts that make other bindings let go, and that is the difference between landing a jump and sliding down on your hip.

Which brake width? Match it to your ski waist or go up to about 15 mm wider. Tell us the skis and we will pick it.

Can I pick these up today? Yes, if they are in stock. Order online and choose free local pickup in Longmont, or get free shipping on orders over $200.
