Lib Tech Hemi 102 Skis 2027

A 102 mm freeride ski that is light enough to throw around and damp enough to trust at speed - and it holds an edge on boilerplate better than any ski this playful has a right to. The Hemi is the one we reach for on a mixed Colorado day: enough float for the trees after a storm, enough edge for the groomer home.

What you get

• 102 mm underfoot. The width that actually works here - floats in fresh, still carves a hard morning groomer.
• Magne-Traction serrated edges. Lib Tech's signature. On firm snow and ice it grips where a straight edge washes out, which on the Front Range is most of the season.
• Aspen and paulownia core. Light to swing, damp underfoot. You feel it at the end of the day as much as the first run.
• Built in the USA. Mervin makes these in Washington in what is genuinely one of the cleanest factories in the industry.

Mounted in Longmont

Mounting is free when you buy the skis and bindings from us. We set them on a calibrated jig, dial in forward pressure for your boot and test the release values before they leave the shop. Bring your boots in.

Common questions

Is 102 too wide for groomers? Not with Magne-Traction. That is the whole trick of this ski - the serrated edge gives it bite that a 102 normally would not have.

Which length? Roughly forehead height, adjusted for weight and how hard you ski. The 171 suits most skiers up to about 5'10"; the 178 above that or for anyone who likes speed. Tell us your height and weight and we will pick it.

What bindings should I put on these? Anything GripWalk-compatible in a DIN range that matches you. We will run your numbers rather than guess - come in with your boots.

Can I pick these up today? Yes, if they are in stock. Order online and choose free local pickup in Longmont, or get free shipping on orders over $200.
