Longmont, Colorado · Eldora Mountain, Colorado
The mountain is for everyone.
Angles Sports and Ignite Adaptive Sports are working together so more people can feel the joy, freedom and possibility of a day on snow.
The short version
How this partnership works
- Angles loves the outdoors
- The mountain is for everyone
- Ignite makes that possible
- Angles brings expertise + community
- Our team gets involved
- Other businesses can join us
"We're an outdoor business. We love this place, we love this community, and we believe everyone should get to experience it."
Why we support Ignite
The outdoors is better when it's shared
We sell skis, snowboards and fly-fishing gear — but really we're in the business of getting people outside and helping them have a great day. Ignite takes something we already love and makes it possible for people who might not otherwise get the chance.
What connected us
We met Ignite through Davis Wolf, a longtime volunteer and Ambassador. Davis showed us how much goes into one day on the hill — it isn't just equipment, it's people coming together to build confidence, independence and community. That resonated.
Why the mission matters
We're a local outdoor business, and we believe the mountain is for everyone. Helping more people ski, ride and get outside is exactly the kind of thing we want to be part of.
What adaptive snowsports mean to us
A good reminder that there's always a way. The right gear, the right instruction, a great volunteer and a supportive community can open up a whole new world — and there's no single "right" way to enjoy the mountain.
Ignite the Mountain
Davis Wolf — the Ignite volunteer and Ambassador who first connected us — runs an end-of-season fundraiser race called Ignite the Mountain. Our shop manager, Nate, races it as a team member, and Team Angles turns out every spring.
How it's grown
From a first gala to a real partnership
-
2024
Our first Ignite Gala
We showed up, met the community, and saw the mission up close. The relationship has grown every season since.
-
2025
Gear, tunes & a donated setup
A custom ski/snowboard setup for the Gala "Heads or Tails" fundraiser, equipment for Ignite athletes and their families, and free QuickTunes for Ignite volunteers.
-
Each spring
Ignite the Mountain race
Nate, our shop manager, races as a team member in Davis Wolf's end-of-season Ignite the Mountain fundraiser.
-
2026
Another custom setup
A donated ski/snowboard setup for the Gala's live auction. Funds go directly to supporting Ignite.
"It's become much more than supporting an organization. We get to lend our equipment, our expertise and our people to a community we believe in."
A story that stands out
A first pair of skis
This year we outfitted the winner of Ignite's Gala "Heads or Tails" fundraiser with his very first ski setup.
There's something special about knowing the first pair of skis he'd call his own came through this partnership. But it's not really about new gear — it's about finding the right gear for the person, and creating an opportunity to get out and enjoy the mountain.
About Ignite Adaptive Sports
Teaching the mountain since 1975
Ignite has been running adaptive snowsports at Eldora Mountain since 1975. What began as a program for ten athletes — famously run out of the back of a van in the parking lot — is now a trained volunteer team of more than 150 people with its own home at the mountain.

Thinking about partnering with Ignite?
Do it.
It's easy to say your company cares about the community. It's more meaningful to give your team a real opportunity to be part of it. You don't have to be a ski shop — you just need people who want to make a difference.
What getting involved can look like
"A meaningful partnership isn't writing a check and putting a logo on something. It's hands-on, genuine and mutually beneficial — contribute something useful, learn from the organization you're supporting, and give your people a way to be involved."
We support Ignite because we believe the mountain is for everyone. We're lucky to make a living doing what we love — and being able to help more people experience that same joy, freedom and sense of possibility is something we're proud to be part of.Angles Sports
