Bollé Cerro Snow Goggles - Offtrack Purple Matte / Cosmic Purple Cat. 2

- Description
A wide-open, semi-frameless goggle with the one lens tint that covers most Colorado days. The Bollé Cerro pairs an Offtrack Purple Matte frame with a Cosmic Purple Category 2 lens: bright enough for flat light on a grey morning, calm enough for a sunny afternoon. If you own one pair of goggles and ski whatever the day gives you, this is the tint we'd put you in.
What you get
- Category 2 SLF lens. Bollé's Superior Light Filter polycarbonate lens handles sunny through cloudy conditions and blocks 100% of UV.
- Double lens with anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings. The two-pane build puts an insulating layer between your face and the cold air, which is what actually keeps goggles from fogging.
- Flow-Tech venting. Vents through the frame keep air moving across the lens on the skin track or in the lift line.
- Oversized cylindrical lens, half-rim frame. More peripheral view, so you pick up terrain and other skiers sooner.
- Triple-density face foam and a silicone-backed strap. Comfortable over a long day, and it stays put on your helmet.

What a Category 2 lens means
Goggle lenses are rated 0 to 4 by how much light they block. Category 2 sits in the middle: it's the everyday tint for mixed Colorado light, good from an overcast morning at Eldora to a sunny afternoon at A-Basin. For night skiing you want a Category 0 or 1 clear or yellow lens. For high-alpine bluebird glare, a Category 3 is darker.
Try them on in Longmont
Goggle fit depends on your face and your helmet, and no spec sheet settles it. Bring your helmet into the shop at 463 Main St and we'll check the seal across your nose and forehead before you buy. We stock helmets from Pret, Dragon and Rossignol if you're building a setup.
Common questions
Do these fit over glasses? No. The Cerro is a standard-fit goggle, not an OTG (over-the-glasses) model. If you ski in glasses, come in and we'll show you an OTG option.
Will they work for snowboarding? Yes. Goggles aren't ski- or snowboard-specific; fit and lens tint are what matter.
Is the lens interchangeable? The Cerro ships with the Cosmic Purple Category 2 lens installed. Ask us about lens options before you order.
Can I pick them up today? Yes, if they're in stock. Order online and choose free local pickup in Longmont, or get free shipping on orders over $200.
