The helmet we hand most people when they ask for a good one without spending $200. MIPS where it matters, a dial fit that actually holds, and a brim shaped to sit flush against a goggle instead of leaving the gap that freezes your forehead.

What you get

  • MIPS. A low-friction layer inside the shell that lets the helmet rotate slightly on impact. Most real crashes are angled, not straight down, and that is exactly what MIPS is built for.
  • 360° Click-To-Fit dial. One hand, with gloves on, and it stays where you put it.
  • Integrated brim and goggle retainer. Designed around Bollé goggles - pair it with the Cerro and there is no gap across the brow.
  • Three colourways, two sizes. Black Matte and Argil Matte in M and L, plus Smoky Purple Matte in M.

Fitted in Longmont

A helmet that does not fit does not protect you. Come in and try it with your own goggles - we check the fit at the back of the head and make sure there is no gap above the goggle frame, which is the single most common thing people get wrong. Measure around your head just above the ears: under 59 cm is a medium, above is a large.

Common questions

Keystone or Atmos? The Keystone is the value pick and it is a genuinely good helmet. The Atmos adds more adjustment and better venting for $60 more. Neither is a compromise on safety - both are certified and both have MIPS.

Is MIPS worth it? Yes. It addresses angled impacts, which is what most falls actually are. We would not sell a helmet without it.

How long does a helmet last? Replace it after any significant impact, and in general every five years or so. The foam degrades whether you crash or not.

Will it fit over a beanie? Thin liners yes, a thick beanie no - it compromises the fit and the protection. Wear the helmet liner instead.

Can I pick this up today? Yes, if it is in stock. Order online and choose free local pickup in Longmont, or get free shipping on orders over $200.
