The fast one. GNU slimmed the Gremlin down and added carbon, and the result is a board that wants to be driven. An 8 flex is a lot of board: this is for the rider who finishes the day wanting one more lap at speed, not for someone still learning to link turns.

What you get

• Flex 8 of 10. Stiff, damp and stable when you point it down a cat track at Copper.
• Carbon-enhanced build. Light underfoot for how much board it is.
• Hybrid rocker/camber. Camber underfoot for pop and grip, rocker to keep the nose up in soft snow.
• Magne-Traction edges. Serrated edge hold that saves you on early-season firm snow.

We are a snowboard shop with a bench, not a warehouse. Come into 463 Main St and stand on the board before you commit, and bring your boots: fit and size depend on your feet far more than your height. We mount, tune and wax in-house, and we will tell you honestly if a cheaper board in the rack suits you better.

Common questions

Is this too much board for me? If you ride blues comfortably but are not charging, the regular Gremlin at a softer flex is the smarter buy and $70 less. Stop in and we will be honest about which one suits you.

How do I pick a length? Roughly chin to nose, then adjust for weight and boot size. Bring your boots and we will check the waist width against them.

Is it good in powder? Yes, the directional shape and rockered nose float well. It is a freeride board first and a park board last.
