Ride Lasso Snowboard Boots

- Description
The Lasso is the boot we sell more of than any other, and it is not close. Two BOA dials, a heat-mouldable Intuition liner and a flex 7 that is stiff enough to drive a real board without beating up your shins on day one. If you want one boot that does everything and you do not want to think about it again for three seasons, this is the answer.
Two model years on this page - read this bit
We are selling the current 2026/27 Lasso in Black alongside the 2025/26 Lasso in Atlantic and Rust at 20% off. Same boot, same chassis, same fit - the prior-season pairs are last year's colours and that is the entire difference. They are new, unworn, in the box. Pick the colour and size that fits; if the prior-season one fits you, take the discount.
Who this boot is for
An intermediate to advanced rider who wants one boot for everything. Flex 7 is the sweet spot: stiff enough to hold an edge on a firm Front Range morning and to drive a stiffer board, soft enough to still press and butter. If you ride park exclusively, something softer will be more fun. If you are charging big lines on a freeride deck every day, look at the Lasso Pro.
What you get
- BOA Fit System with the H5 Coiler. Two dials, one for the lower zone and one for the upper. Micro-adjustable with a gloved hand on the chairlift, which is the whole point.
- BOA Tongue Tied. Ride's patented system that pulls the tongue in around your ankle, so you get real heel hold without a separate internal harness strangling your instep.
- Heat-mouldable Intuition liner. Closed-cell foam that packs out to the shape of your foot. We mould these in-house, free, when you buy the boots here - that is the single biggest thing you can do for comfort.
- Impact Rubber Cup Sole with Ride Fusion recycled rubber and an Eco +Slime midsole. Grippy on icy lift ramps and it takes the sting out of flat landings.
- TPU Rebound Heel Counter and the C.A.T. calf adjustment system, so the cuff can be set for your calf rather than the average one.
- Impacto Ultra insole and heat-reflective foil underfoot - a small thing that matters on a cold chairlift.

Sizing
Snowboard boots usually run a half to a full size smaller than your street shoe, and they pack out roughly half a size as the liner moulds. Your toes should brush the end when you stand upright and pull back when you flex your knees - if they are comfortable in the shop on day one, they will be too big by February.

Heat moulded in Longmont, free
Buy boots from us and we heat-mould the liners for you before they leave the shop - it is included, not an upsell. Bring the socks you actually ride in, not thick ones. A moulded liner is the difference between a boot you tolerate and a boot you forget you are wearing. Shell work on snowboard boots is limited by design, so getting the mould and the size right is most of the job.
Common questions
What is actually different about the 20% off pairs? The colour. The 2025/26 Atlantic and Rust are the same boot as the current Black - same flex, same liner, same BOA layout, same sole. They are new in the box. We priced them 20% under current MSRP because they are last season's graphic, not because there is anything wrong with them.
Is flex 7 too stiff for me? If you are linking turns confidently and riding the whole mountain, no - it is the most useful flex there is. If you are in your first couple of seasons, something softer will be easier to steer and more forgiving of mistakes.
What is BOA Tongue Tied? Instead of a separate internal strap around your ankle, the BOA cable routes through the tongue and pulls it inward as you tighten. You get heel hold without a pressure point across the top of your foot, which is where most boots hurt.
Will two BOA dials wear out? BOA dials and laces carry a lifetime guarantee from BOA. If one fails we handle the warranty here.
What size should I order? Start a half size below your street shoe and come in if you can - boot fit is the one thing worth doing in person. If you are ordering online and it is wrong, send it back and we will swap it.
Can I pick them up today? Yes if your size is in stock. Order online and choose free local pickup in Longmont, or free shipping on orders over $200.
