- Description
A Warpig that grew up and learned to charge. The Psychocandy takes the volume-shifted shape that made the Warpig famous and stretches it into something that holds a high-speed edge, so you get the short, surfy, get-anywhere feel without giving up stability when you point it.
Read this before you pick a size
This board is designed to be ridden 3 to 6 cm shorter than your normal board. That is not a typo, and it is the thing people most often get wrong ordering one online. The waist is wide for its length, so a 158 Psychocandy rides closer to a 162 or 164 in a conventional shape. If you normally ride a 162, this 158 is your size. Not sure? Call us - getting this right matters more on this board than on almost anything else we sell.
What it is good at
- All-mountain, genuinely. Park, pipe, powder, slush. Ride rates it intermediate to advanced, which is fair - it rewards someone who can already link confident turns.
- Zero camber. Predominantly flat underfoot, so it is forgiving but still stable at speed. Easier than full camber and far more supportive than rocker.
- Directional shape. More nose than tail with a setback stance, so it floats in soft snow. You can ride it switch, you just will not love it all day.
- Tapered bi-radial sidecut. Gives you the underfoot width of a wide board with the tip and tail width of a standard one - better grip through a turn and better leverage on landings.
- Carbon Slimewalls. Ride's urethane sidewalls with carbon running from the back inserts out to the tail contact point. They absorb impacts instead of fighting them, and they are close to indestructible.

Set up in Longmont
Mounting is free when you buy bindings here, and we will set your stance width and angles to suit the setback this board wants rather than leaving it centred. Every board goes out waxed. Bring your boots in so we can check your overhang against that 269 mm waist.
Common questions
Psychocandy or Warpig? Same family. The Warpig is shorter, wider and looser - more fun at slow speed. The Psychocandy is the one to pick if you want that shape but you ride the whole mountain fast. We stock both, so come and stand on them.
Will my bindings fit? Yes. Standard 4x4 and channel-compatible discs both work.
Is the sustainability claim real? Bio-based resin, 30% recycled steel edges and biodegradable Wend Meadowfoam factory wax. It is a genuinely better-built board than it was five years ago.
Can I pick it up today? Yes if it is in stock. Order online and choose free local pickup in Longmont, or free shipping on orders over $200.
