Rome Katana AW Snowboard Bindings 2027

- Description
The binding that introduced AsymWrap, and still the one we reach for when someone wants a board to feel sharper without feeling harsh. The Katana AW disappears underfoot when you are cruising, then steers like a sports car the moment you lean on it. If you have outgrown a soft binding but do not want something that beats you up, this is the step.
What you get
- AsymWrap platform. The chassis is shaped differently on the toe and heel side, because your ankle is not symmetrical. It is the reason this binding transmits a heelside edge so cleanly.
- PivotMounts ankle strap. Eight positions per side - sixteen in total. Nobody else offers this much adjustment, and it is what lets us actually fit the binding to your boot instead of near enough.
- AuxTech construction. Light without being flimsy. You feel it on a long traverse and on the last lap of the day.
- All-terrain range. Responsive enough for euro carves, forgiving enough for trees and chop.

Mounted and set up in Longmont
Mounting is free when you buy the bindings from us, and with the Katana that is worth taking us up on - sixteen ankle strap positions is a lot of adjustment to guess at. Bring your boots and your board and we will set stance width, angles and strap position together. Most people ride a binding that nearly fits; this one does not have to be.
Common questions
Which size do I need? M/L covers roughly a men's 8 to 11, L/XL a men's 11 and up. It goes by your boot, not your shoe size, so bring the boots in and we will check the heel cup and strap fit.
Will these fit my board? They mount to 2x4, 4x4 and Burton Channel boards - the disc set covers all of them. If you ride a Channel board, say so and we will make sure the right disc goes in the box.
Katana AW or Katana AW FASE? The FASE version adds fast entry - the highback drops back so you can step in and go. The AW is the traditional two-strap, $30 less, and a touch lighter. Both ride the same AsymWrap chassis.
Is this too much binding for me? If you are still linking your first turns, yes - come talk to us about the Ace or the 390 Boss instead. If you are riding the whole mountain and want more out of your board, this is the one.
Can I pick these up today? Yes, if they are in stock. Order online and choose free local pickup in Longmont, or get free shipping on orders over $200.
