- Description
A 120-flex race-room feel in a boot you can actually walk to the lift in. The Hi-Speed Pro 120 MV is Rossignol's performance on-piste boot: a 100 mm medium-volume last, an adjustable flex spine and GripWalk soles as standard. If you ski the front side hard and you have a normal-to-narrow foot, this is the shape we reach for.
Who this boot is for
A 120 flex is an advanced boot. It suits a confident, aggressive skier of average-to-heavier build who wants the ski to respond the instant they move. If you are still working on linked parallel turns, or you are light, this will feel like a plank and you will ski worse in it - we will say so and put you in something softer. Come in and let us measure you before you commit.
What you get
- 100 mm medium-volume last. The middle of the three Rossignol widths. Precise without being a race fit - it balances control against being able to ski all day.
- Adjustable flex, +5 to -5. A single adjustment on the rear spine. In practice that means this boot can be softened toward a 115 for cold mornings or firmed up for hard snow, which is rare at this price.
- Adjustable forward lean, 10.6 to 12.6 degrees. Two degrees of range via the cuff spoiler. Worth setting properly - forward lean does more for how a boot feels than most people realise.
- Generative Design shell. Rossignol used data-driven modelling to thin the shell wall where it does not carry load, so you get the power transfer without carrying the weight.
- Dual Core construction. Two densities of plastic in the shell, placed to wrap the foot and drive energy to the edge. It is what gives this boot its rebound.
- Thermoformable preshaped liner. Anatomically shaped around the ankle, so it fits well out of the box and can be heat-moulded to you.
- Thinsulate Platinum insulation and a seamless toe box that Rossignol rate at 20% less heat loss. Genuinely warmer than the average performance boot.
- GripWalk soles premounted. Rockered rubber tread - better grip on an icy lift ramp, and compatible with any GripWalk-ready binding, which is nearly all of them now.
- Cantology compatible for canting adjustment if your alignment needs it.

Fitted in Longmont
Ski boots are the one piece of kit you should never buy on a spec sheet. Come into 463 Main St and we will measure your foot, shell-check you and tell you honestly whether this is your boot. We heat-mould liners in-house, and that is included when you buy boots from us. Shell work - punching and grinding - is a Master Bootfitter job, so we do not do it here: we send people to Boulder Orthotics and Boot Fitting and we will tell you up front if we think you will need it.
Common questions
What size am I? Mondopoint is the length of your foot in centimetres, not your shoe size - a 29.5 is roughly a US men's 11.5, a 28.5 a 10.5. Treat that as a starting point and nothing more: we shell-check every customer, and plenty of people are a full size off what they expect.
Is 120 too stiff for me? Possibly. Flex suits weight, height and how hard you ski, not how good you want to be. Tell us how you ski and we will be straight with you.
What does MV mean? Medium volume - a 100 mm last. Rossignol also make this shell in HV, which is wider. If you have a wide forefoot or a high instep, the MV is likely the wrong shape and we will steer you to the HV.
Will these work with my bindings? Yes, if your bindings are GripWalk compatible, which covers almost everything sold in the last several years. Bring your skis in and we will check and reset the forward pressure.
Can I pick these up today? Yes if they are in stock. Order online and choose free local pickup in Longmont, or free shipping on orders over $200.
