The binding we put most first-season and second-season riders on, because it does the important things right and does not cost $400. Soft enough to be forgiving when your technique is still arriving, adjustable enough that we can actually fit it to your boot, and built well enough that it will not be the reason you have a bad day.

What you get

  • DualBack highback with adjustable forward lean. Dial it upright while you are learning, add lean as you start riding harder. Most bindings at this price do not let you.
  • Ghost ankle strap. Spreads pressure across the instep instead of pinching one spot - the usual reason a beginner's feet hurt by lunchtime.
  • Soft to medium flex. Forgiving when you are learning to flex the board, not so soft that it goes vague once you progress.
  • Mounts to anything. 2x4, 4x4 and Burton Channel boards all covered.

Set up in Longmont

Setup is free when you buy the bindings here. Bring the board and your boots and we will set stance width, angles, strap position and forward lean together. It takes ten minutes and it is the difference between a binding that fits and one that nearly fits.

Common questions

What size do I need? It goes by your boot, not your shoe size. Roughly a men's 8 to 11 is a medium and 11 up is a large, but bring the boots in - a binding that is a size out never feels right.

Will these fit my board? Yes. The disc set covers 2x4, 4x4 and the Burton Channel. Tell us what you ride and we will put the right disc in the box.

Is this enough binding for me? For a first or second season, comfortably. Once you are riding the whole mountain and wanting more response, come look at the Katana or the 390 Boss - but there is no sense buying that before you need it.

Do you set them up? Yes, and it is free. Bring the board and your boots and we will set stance width, angles and strap position properly.

Can I pick these up today? Yes, if they are in stock. Order online and choose free local pickup in Longmont, or get free shipping on orders over $200.
