Völkl M7 Mantra Skis 2027

Völkl’s flagship all-mountain ski, and the widest Mantra most people should be on. At 96 mm the M7 does something the 88 cannot - it floats through the soft stuff - while keeping the titanal backbone that lets you point it down a firm groomer without the ski arguing.

What you get

• 96 mm underfoot. The width that handles a storm day and still carves home. If you have ever wished your frontside ski floated more, this is the fix.
• 4 Radius Drive. Four different sidecut radii along the edge, so it turns short when you ask and runs long when you open it up.
• Tailored Titanal Frame. Damp and composed at speed - the reason people keep buying Mantras after demoing lighter skis.
• Tailored Carbon Tips. Light tips for quick direction changes, heavy damping where it counts.

Specifications

Mounted in Longmont

Mounting is free when you buy skis and bindings from us. We set them on a calibrated jig, dial in forward pressure for your boot and test the release values before the skis leave the shop. Bring your boots in - a binding set to the wrong boot length is not a binding, it is a hazard.

Common questions

M7 Mantra or Mantra 88? Width. The M7 at 96 mm is the better storm-day and off-piste ski; the 88 is sharper on hard snow. If you only ski in bounds on groomers, save the money and take the 88.

Is 96 mm too wide for groomers? No. The titanal frame and the multi-radius sidecut mean it still holds an edge properly. It is a touch slower edge to edge than the 88, and that is the trade.

Which length? The 177 suits most skiers to about 6 foot, the 184 above that or for anyone who skis fast. Bring your height and weight and we will pick it.

Do these come with bindings? No - flat skis. Mounting is free when you buy skis and bindings from us.

Can I pick these up today? Yes, if they are in stock. Order online and choose free local pickup in Longmont, or get free shipping on orders over $200.
