Beacon, shovel and probe are the minimum for travelling in avalanche terrain, and all three are useless without practice and a partner carrying the same.

Buying the gear is the easy part. If you have not taken an avalanche course yet, come talk to us first. We would rather point you toward training than sell you a beacon.
